Maa Durga is known as the Goddess of Power. Yagya is a method which is done to please Goddess Durga. Chandi Yagya is described as one of the most powerful ritual in the Hindu religion. In this Yagya a form of Goddess Durga is worshipped which is known as Goddess Chandi. Chandi yagya involves the recitation of Durga Saptashati, a collection of 700 verses that describe the glory and victory of Goddess Durga over various demons and enemies.
First sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Than Goddess Chandi is invoked by the pujari with the help of mantras and other things are offered to here like flowers etc. Than the path of Goddess Chandi is done. At last aarti is done of the Goddess Chandi and her blessings are taken.
