Purusha Sukta is a hymn from the Vedas that is dedicated to the Purusha, the cosmic being who is the source of all creation.

At first sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Than the abhishek of Lord Shiva is started with mantras and water. Than the abhishek is done with milk along with flowers. At last aarti of Lord Shiva is done and his blessings are taken by the devotees and their loved ones.
