About
Ganga is known as one of the most spiritual and religious river in the hindu religion. In hindu religion river Ganga is always addressed as mother as she is known to remove all the sins of the devotees and help them in getting moksh. Gangotri is the highest temple that is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. The holy River Ganges originates from the Gangotri glacier, located here, and is called Bhagirathi.
At first the Sankalp will be taken in the name of the person. Than the mantras are chanted and Ganga mata is worshipped with flowers and other things At last aarti is done of the River Ganga and than the blessings of it is taken by the devotees and their family members.
