Daat kali temple

Popularly known as "Maa Daat Kali Temple", Daat Kali Temple is one of famous centre of religious sentiments near Dehradun. Located at 14 kms from main Dehradun city in Shahranpur Rd, Daat Kali Temple is visited by hundreds of Goddess Kali devotees all round the year. It was believed that Maa Kali came to dream of Engineer, who gave an idol of Goddess Kali to Mahant Sukhbir Gusain to established the temple. As temple is located in the valley, it is called as Daat Kali Mandir. Devotees come to have darshan of divine flame which was continuously burning since 1921.
