Kalimath Temple

Kalimath is a village in Rudraprayag District of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is regarded as a divine place and shakti peeth. Located at a height of 1800 mtr, Kalimath is one of the 108 Shakti Peeths in India. Kalimath lies on lap of nature offering salubrious and divine environment. Goddess Kali Temple is located in Kalimath. Kalimath is the only place where the goddess Kali is worshipped along with her sisters Laxmi and Saraswati. No idol is worshipped in the temple. Instead the Sri Yantra is the object of devotion.
