Kurinji Andavar Temple

Kurinji Andavar Temple is an Hindu temple situated in the city of Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan. The temple was constructed by Lady Leelavathi Ramanathan, an Australian who married the Solicitor General of Ceylon called Ponnambalam Ramanatham in the year 1936. Hindu scriptures inspired her so much that she converted into a Hindu, and after her husband died, she built this temple commemorating his memory.
