About Matangeshwar temple
Matangeshwar temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva it is situated in the city of Khajuraho in Madya Pradesh. Built by the Chandela dynasty ruler Chandra Dev in the early 10th century AD. Among the Chandela-era monuments of Khajuraho, it is the only Hindu temple that is still actively used for worship. It is located among the Western group of temples.
