About Military Mahadeva Temple
The Military Mahadeva Temple is located in the city of Belgaum, Karnataka, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The construction of the temple started in the year 1954 by Lieutenant General SM Shrinagesh and the temple was open for worship in the year 1955. The temple boasts intricate carvings that are similar to the carvings found in prominent temples across South India. The temple has been used for a long time for worshipping by Army personnel, so it is called Military Mahadeva Temple.
