Shree Omkareshwar Temple

The Shree Omkareshwar Temple is located to city of Pune, Maharashtra, India. The Temple is dedicated to Mahadev. The temple was built between 1740 and 1760 by Chimaji Appa, the commander of the Maratha Empire, and Peshwa Bajirao on the banks of the Mutha River. Apart from being the shrine of Lord Shiva, the temple also houses Chimaji Appa's samadhi which makes this holy place more attractive for visitors.
