About Shri Mangal Chandi Temple
The Mangal Chandika Saktipeeth Temple is Located in Ujani Village in the Bardhhaman city. The Temple is Dedicated To Goddess Mangal Chandika Mata, Goddess of Sati. This is a form of Mother Durga. According to the Puranas in Hinduism, wherever body parts or ornaments of Goddess Sati fell, they became Shaktipithas.
