About Shri Radha Kushal Bihari Temple

The Shri Radha Kushal Bihari Temple is located in the city of Barsana, Uttar Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. The temple is built in the Rajasthani architecture. The temple was built by Maharaja Madho Singh Rao of Jaipur and his wife. The construction of the Shri Radha Kushal Bihari Temple took about 14 years. However, on the night before that, Radharani (another name for Radha) appeared before the king and told him to stop their installation in the main temple as it wasn't their abode. On the next day, the king began the construction of another small temple and placed the deities of Radha and Krishna in it. The temple was built in the year 1813 A.D.
