About Sri Krishna Temple
The Sri Krishna Temple is located in the city of Hampi, Karnataka, India. The temple was built by King Krishnadevaraya during the year 1513 AD to celebrated the win over the Orissa state. The main idol installed in the temple was the figure of Balakrishna. This idol is now displayed in the state museum at Chennai.
