About
Navgrah Puja means worshipping all the 9 Grah (Planets). It is an auspicious ritual dating back to the ancient Vedic times. Navgrah Shanti Puja is is performed to reduce the negative effects of the planets and enhance their positive influences on one’s life. In this puja all the nine planets in the horoscope are worshipped and their negative effects are reduced.
At first mantras are chanted to invoke all the navgrah or nine planets. Than sankalp is taken in the name of the devotee. It is followed with puja of Lord Ganesh and of all the Navgrah. After that aarti is done to receive the blessings of the Navgrah.
