Mahalakshmi is known as the goddess of wealth and money. According to Hindu mythology, the goddess Lakshmi is renowned as the goddess of wealth, good luck, success and grace. Known as the wife of Lord Vishnu, Lakshmi gives gifts and blessings to her devotees. The word Lakshmi has been originated from the Sanskrit word Lakshya which means an aim or goal.
At first the sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Than goddess Mahalaxmi is worshipped with mantras and story along with Lord Ganesh. Than the aarti is done of the idols.
